As a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), in addition to being a Realtor, I am uniquely qualified to help assist 50+ year olds in housing sales and purchases. I have taken additional education courses on how to best help older adults and their families and later in life real estate decisions.
I take a no-pressure approach and focus on what best serves, you the client. I can help you determine what the best alternative is for by exploring all the options available. Downsizing a lifetime’s worth of possessions is not any easy or quick thing to do and we will take all the time needed to make sure you are comfortable with the process and the decisions you will be making. The emotional demands a sale and/or purchase of a home can take a toll and part of my job as your Realtor is to minimize the stress and make you feel at ease every step of the way. I understand the needs of older clients as well as their children and am happy to include any other family members you’d like in the process.
If I can make one suggestion, it would be to have a discussion with me regarding a possible change in living situation before it becomes a necessity. It’s much better to plan ahead for the future and know your options before some type of emergency situation makes it necessary and much more stressful.
